Hinged - The lid hinges with aircraft cable lid stays. Usually hinged lid opens approximately 110 degrees. If the length or width of your case is longer than 48” (121cm), the lid will default to Removable.
Removable - The lid is secured by military twist latches on two sides, then the lid can be completely lifted off.
Plywood / ABS Laminate - Panel construction is plywood with a plastic ABS overlaminate so all exposed surfaces of the case are plastic. The interior of the case is plywood (unless you chose a foam lining, carpet, etc.). This panel is the most economical construction.
Plastic Composite Board - This board is plastic with an internal honeycomb-like inner structure. It’s a lightweight alternative to plywood. It’s strong and mildew resistant. Available in ¼” thickness only.
Caster Wheels - Just like a shopping cart…but there are options. From wheel diameter, to swivel or fixed, or even adding brakes to keep the case from rolling.
Handle with Edge Wheels - Similar to a piece of luggage, the case will have 2 rollerblade style wheels and a retractable pull handle
No Wheels - You guessed it…no wheels on the case…all muscle power to move your case.
4 Swivel Caster - This is a shopping cart on steroids…where all 4 wheels swivel 360 degrees to allow easy movement on a floor. You can parallel park sideways with no turning radius!
2 Swivel Caster and 2 Fixed Caster - This is similar to a traditional shopping cart. Two of the wheels are in a fixed position, and the other two swivel.
NOTE - Both of these options can have brakes added to them to keep your case from rolling in a truck or on a floor. A great suggestion to add to any case.
